3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
Dr. Adam Smith
Adam Smith BS,DC My name is Adam Smith, and I grew up in nearby DeArmanville, Alabama, and graduated from White Plains High School. To the surprise of many, I never went to a chiropractor growing up, because my family never did. We were not aware of what chiropractic care was, or how beneficial it was. It wasn’t until my senior year of high school, while accompanying a friend to a chiropractic appointment for a sports injury, that I became very intrigued and curious about what chiropractors actually do. After some investigation into the profession, I decided that I wanted to be a chiropractor.I started my educational journey at Jacksonville State University, where I spent 2 years studying Exercise Science and Wellness. I then transferred to Bethel University in McKenzie, TN due to a scholarship offer to play bass guitar for their extracurricular gospel choir. I spent the next couple of years traveling on weekends with that ministry, while also earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Fitness and Wellness Promotion with a minor in Sports Medicine. After being gone for a while, I was ready to be back closer to home, so the choice to attend Life University in Marietta, GA (the closest chiropractic college to home) was a no-brainer. I made the move to Marietta, and I travelled home every weekend to attend and help lead worship at my home church, First Baptist White Plains. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Chiropractic Program in June 2021, and my confidence and passion about the chiropractic profession has only grown. My family and close friends have now experienced the benefits of chiropractic care, and I can not wait to care for my community that raised me into the man that I am today!
